(Matthew 17:1-20)

1. (vv. 1-4) A glimpse of Heaven 
 
 
 

2. (vv. 5) The Father’s Affirmation
Three key things every child needs to hear from their father (or mother):
 *I love you; “This is my beloved Son…”
*I’m proud of you; “...in whom I am well pleased…”
*You have something worthwhile to contribute; “...listen to Him.” (“Here is something I notice you are good at…”)
 What happens when kids don’t hear these things?
 
 

3. (vv. 6-13) Jesus meets us in our fears and failures
 
 

(vv. 14-20) Allow Jesus to increase your faith in Him
