"Lord, Help Me in My Sorrow"
 Psalm 13:1-6 
 

1. (vv.1-2) Take your pain to the Lord. 

              A. Take time to feel your feelings. Do you feel abandoned, even by God?     ("How long, O Lord...")

B. Take all your emotions to the Lord. What are you grieving? (Loss of a loved one? Loss of my dreams? etc.)

2. (vv.3-4) Give your plea/prayer to the Lord.

A. Deliver me Lord! Give me truth. Life is hard. I need good news!
 

B. Don't let this crisis derail my faith in You. Let others see that You are 
 faithful.

3. (vv.5-6) Offer your praise to the Lord! 

A. God recalibrates our hearts, our emotions, our minds. Follow Truth, not our feelings.
 

B. Our circumstances may not change, but God changes me!

C. The resurrection of Jesus Christ is our promise that God will yet fix all that is broken.
