“Freedom Rules” (the 10 Commandments) 

Exodus 20:1-21; (Deuteronomy 5:1-21)
"the Law was put in charge to lead us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith." 
 Galatians 3:24

1. (Exo 20:3) “You shall have no other gods before Me” - Put God First 
 

2. (vv.4-6) “Don’t make any image of any god to worship them” - Worship God only

 
3. (v.7) “Don’t take the name of the Lord in vain…” - Uphold God’s 
 reputation 

 
4. (vv.8-11) “Keep the Sabbath holy…” - Enter God’s rest 

 
5. (v.12) “Honor your father and mother…” - Honor God’s authority 

 
6. (v.13) “Do not murder” - End your hate 

 
7. (v.14) “Do not commit adultery” - Keep your promises and control your desires 

 
8. (v.15) “Do not steal” - Be content and manage your stuff God's way 

 
9. (v.16) “Don’t bear false witness against your neighbor…” - Watch your words and tell the truth with grace

10. (v.17) “Do not covet your neighbor’s wife, their house…or anything belonging to them.” - Guard your heart
